Add Aging To-Do

Overview

You can create a To-Do to remind yourself or someone else to follow up on a claim. For example, if you have a partial claim denial where a payer denied one of your line items due to an improper diagnosis code, you can create a To-Do to remind yourself or other active OneSpot users to update this and refile a corrected claim. This action will create an entry in the 'Activity' tab found within the Claim Details.

Instructions

1. Select ‘Add To-Do.’

2. Complete the following fields:

  • Description: Enter your reason for creating the To-Do.
  • Due Date: Use the Today, Tomorrow, or Next Week quick action options, or select the calendar icon to manually enter a due date.
  • Priority: The priority default is ‘Normal,’ update as needed.
  • Assigned To: Select who the To-Do should be assigned to. The drop-down will include all active OneSpot users who are assigned to the location associated with the claim. Location access for each user is assigned in Admin>Users.

Note: If you create a to-do for another user in OneSpot, the user will receive an email notifying them of this assigned to-do.

3. When finished, select ‘Save,’ or if you do not want to save the information, select ‘Cancel.’
