Viewing Claim Previews
Claim previews can be viewed within the 'Aging'>'Claims' tab. Previews are also available in the claim filtering grids and the claim details screen.
Grids - View HCFA
The ‘Preview’ icon will display in the grid if a claim preview is available. Selecting the icon will open a new tab and display the most recent preview associated with the claim.
Claim Details - View HCFA
Claim Header

- If a claim preview is available, the header will display 'Latest Preview.' Selecting it will open a new tab and display the most recent preview associated with the claim.
Previews Tab

- All previews associated with the claim are listed in the left-hand menu.
- By default, the most recent preview will be selected. Select a different HCFA to view the details.
- Select ‘View in New Tab’ to open the HCFA in a new tab.
Matching and Unmatching Claim Previews
Every attempt is made to automatically match the claim preview to the associated claim in OneSpot. However, if an exact match is not found, the claim preview will remain unmapped. ‘Search & Match Claim Previews’ provides a way for you to search for and manually match a claim preview to a claim. It will also allow you to unmatch a claim preview from a claim.
Search and Match Claim Previews
1. Select ‘Search & Match Claim Previews.' If no previews are currently matched, select ‘Search for Claim Previews for Claim.’
2. The 'Search & Match Claim Previews' screen will open, and the grid will include all previews that match the search criteria. If needed, update the search criteria, and select ‘Go’ to initiate a new search.
Search fields include:

- Patient: This is prepopulated with the last name of the patient for the claim you are viewing.
- Payer: This is prepopulated with the payer for the claim you are viewing.
- External Claim #: The claim ID from RevolutionEHR.
- Service Date: Search by service dates.
- Claim Preview Status: This defaults to 'Active' and includes the option to search for claim previews with a status of ‘Ignored.’
- Show Unmatched Only: This is selected by default. Unselect to see matched and unmatched claim previews that match the other search criteria.
3. Select the preview icon to view the HCFA.
4. The last column in the grid includes the match and unmatched status.

- If the claim preview is not matched to a claim, ‘Unmatched’ will display. If you want to match this claim preview to the claim you are currently viewing, hover over the text and select ‘Match.’
Select ‘Match’ in the modal to proceed with matching the preview.

Select ‘Unmatch’ in the modal to proceed with unmatching the preview.

5. Select ‘Close Search’ to return to the 'Previews' screen.
Unmatching Claim Preview
1. Select the ‘Unmatch This Preview From This Claim’ button.
2. Select the ‘Unmatch’ button to unmatch and remove the claim preview or select 'Cancel' if you do not want to proceed.
3. Proceeding with the unmatch will close the modal and remove the preview.
