Overview
Payer statuses in OneSpot should be updated as needed to match their status in your practice management system in order to ensure data consistency. This article will guide you through the steps to activate or deactivate payers in OneSpot.
Note: For RevolutionEHR users only — The process below does not apply, as payer data is automatically synced from information entered in your practice management system under Admin > Vendors & Partners > Insurance Companies. To manually refresh this data sooner, refer to RevolutionEHR - Load & Update Admin Data.
Update Payer Status
1. Navigate to Admin > Payers.
2. In the grid, locate the payer whose status you want to update, then find the Status column.
3. Update the payer's status:
- If the current status is Active, a red ‘X’ labeled Deactivate will appear.
- If the current status is Inactive, a grey checkmark labeled Activate will appear.
4. A success message will confirm the update. The payer’s status will be automatically updated.
- Note: You may need to adjust the filter settings to view the updated payer.
