Eyefinity Encompass - Create OneSpot Connection

Overview

OneSpot automatically connects with Eyefinity Encompass to import Aging Files and Scrubbing Files. Follow these instructions to configure the connection between Eyefinity Encompass and OneSpot.

Note: Only users with the Administrator role can complete the setup steps below. Follow these instructions to configure the Eyefinity Encompass - OneSpot Connection.


Before You Begin

Ensure the following setup steps are completed before configuring the connection. You will not be able to proceed until both are completed.

  1. Eyefinity Encompass - Configure and Manage PM Software
  2. Eyefinity Encompass - Create OneSpot Employee 

Initiate the Eyefinity Encompass - OneSpot Connection

1. Navigate to the Admin module in OneSpot. 

2. Select Manage Eyefinity Encompass > Setup Connection. 

3. Input the OneSpot Employee username and password created in Eyefinity Encompass. 

  • Confirm that the temporary password (start123) for the OneSpot employee has been reset in Eyefinity Encompass.
  • If it hasn't been reset yet, please do so before proceeding with the next step. 

4. Select Save Connection

Important: After saving the connection, review your Admin > Locations setup. Each location’s Location Number must match exactly with the corresponding location and number in your practice management system to ensure the connection functions correctly.


Updating OneSpot Employee Credentials

If the username or password is later updated in Eyefinity Encompass, you'll need to update it in OneSpot as well:

  • Follow the same steps above, but in Step 2, select Update Connection instead of Setup Connection.
