Overview
This action is only available on claims with a status of ‘Completed.’ If the claim status in the PMS has been updated to ‘Active’ during the processing of an Aging File, the system will automatically update the status of the claim in OneSpot. If needed, the ‘Uncomplete’ action will allow you to manually revert the claim to the status it was before it was ‘Completed.’ This action will create an entry in the 'Activity' tab found within the Claim Details.
Instructions
1. Select ‘Uncomplete.’
2. ‘Uncompleted On’ will default to the current date, if needed this can be edited.
3. Enter a comment. This should include the reason for un-completing the claim. The ‘Note’ text will alert you to the status the claim will be reset to.
4. Optional: By checking the 'Create To-Do' box, you can set a reminder to follow up on this claim, including adding notes on any additional actions that need to be taken. For more information, please refer to the Create a To-Do within Claim Actions documentation.
5. When finished, select ‘Save,’ or if you do not want to save the information, select ‘Cancel.’
