Claim Detail and Claim Activity

Claim Details

This will provide information about an individual claim. This can include claim activity, aging information, remit instructions, and more. Having this information easily accessible will assist you as you begin to work on your claims.

Activity Tab

Claim actions will update the claim status and add an entry to the ‘Activity’ tab within the 'Claim Detail' screen. In some instances, the claim action will also update the ‘Last Worked’ column as well. Additionally, if a claim in the 'Aging' module is associated with a Scrubbing Worklist item, the 'Activity' tab will display the 'Scrubbing Activity' associated with the aging claim. To learn more about the 'Scrubbing Activity' view the Aging - Scrubbing Activity & Scrubbing Results Tab documentation.

Accessing Claim Details and Activity Tab

The 'Status’ column displays the claim's current status. A claim's status is defaulted to ‘Active’ or ‘Pending.’ Once the ‘Update Status’ buttons are used, this area will change to reflect the claim's status.

‘Last Worked’ will display the date a claim was last worked. This can include whether a claim has been appealed, corrected, completed, or refiled. Hovering over this date will display the most recent information about the claim activity.

Selecting the row of a claim will open the ‘Claim Detail’ and ‘Claim Activity.’

The claim status will be displayed at the top header. The claim activity can be found under the ‘Activity’ tab. Each time a claim is updated with the 'Snooze,' 'Notate,' or 'Update Status' buttons, the action will be recorded in the 'Aging Activity' area. The claim's activity can be filtered by selecting 'Aging Activity' or, if applicable, 'Scrubbing Activity.'
