Overview
Claim scrubbing is a critical step in the claim lifecycle, helping reduce accounts receivable, rejections, and denials. In OneSpot, the scrubbing process begins by importing claims from RevolutionEHR. OneSpot will import all ready-to-submit electronic claims from every location it has been granted access to. The instructions below walk you through how to get started.
Note: This applies to all areas of the OneSpot Scrubbing module where the Import Claims button appears.
Instructions
1. Navigate to the Scrubbing module in OneSpot.
2. Select Import Claims.
3. A window will open, select Import Claims again.
4. The window will close, and a banner message will display to let you know that the file is being processed.
- Processing usually takes 3–5 minutes.
- You can continue working in OneSpot while the import runs in the background.
- The banner will remain on screen until processing is complete.
5. Once the file has finished processing, a success message will appear.
- Select View Claims to go to the Worklist.
- If the claims don’t appear immediately, click the Refresh button to update the list.
Error Message Troubleshooting: Unable to sync RevEHR EDI Claim file for Account
When importing a scrubbing file into OneSpot, you may encounter the following error:
"Unable to sync RevEHR EDI Claim file for Account: Each invoice line item(s) may not contain more than 4 diagnosis codes. Please correct and try again."
Why This Happens
This error occurs when at least one claim in RevolutionEHR includes more than four diagnosis codes on a single line item. RevolutionEHR enforces a strict limit of four diagnosis codes per line when generating 837 electronic claim files. As a result, any claim exceeding this limit cannot be exported from RevolutionEHR or imported into OneSpot until the issue is corrected.
What To Do Next
To resolve the error, identify and edit the affected claim(s) in RevolutionEHR to ensure no single line item contains more than four diagnosis codes.
