Dismiss Stall

Overview

Marking a claim as Stalled helps indicate that it's temporarily unworkable. A claim will remain stalled until the status is manually removed, using the steps below. 


How to Dismiss a Stall

1. Locate Stalled Claims

Use either of the following methods to locate your stalled claims in Aging > Claims > Claim Filtering Tabs::

  • Navigate to By Claim Status > Stalled to view a list of payers with stalled claims.
  • Use the Stalled sub-filter within any of the following claim filtering tabs:
    • By Claim Age
    • By Timely Filing
    • By Last Worked
    • By Service Date

2. Dismiss the Stall

Once you've located a stalled claim, choose one of the following methods to dismiss the stall: 

  • Action Menu:
    You can dismiss the stall individually or in bulk:
    • Bulk Action: Select multiple claims from the same payer in your worklist, select the ellipsis (⋯), then choose Dismiss Stall.

    • Individual Claim: Select the ellipsis (⋯) next to a single claim to open the action menu, then select Dismiss Stall.

  • Claim Details: Select the claim row to open the Claim Details, then select Work This Claim to open the action menu, where you can choose Dismiss Stall.
