Scrubbing Action - Add Note

Overview

The Add Note action is available for all claims, regardless of status. It allows you to document information unique to the claim’s current status. For example, if the scrubber identifies an issue with a patient’s insurance ID and you need to contact the patient for an update, you can document details such as the date and time of the call, whether a voicemail was left, and any other relevant information. The actions below will generate an entry in the Activity & Notes tab and update the Last Worked date, providing a clear record of recent activity on the claim.

For RevolutionEHR accounts only: If the scrubbed claim matches a claim in the Aging module, any notes added will also appear in the Activity tab > Scrubbing Activity in the Aging Claim Details. During the nightly sync, notes are also pushed to the associated invoice in RevolutionEHR. See the RevolutionEHR - Manage OneSpot Auto-Sync documentation for more information.


Add Note

1. Select Add Note.

2. Add the information you want to document in the Note field. 

3.  When finished, select Save or Cancel to exit without making changes. 

  • Important: Once a note is saved, it cannot be edited or deleted.
