Overview
This report provides a deeper look into the data behind the Aging Performance Trend KPI. You can explore the details driving each trend and refine your view using filters like date range, location, payer, and aging bucket.
With a focus on the most critical aging categories (61+ days), it helps you identify trends early and take action with confidence.
What the Report Shows
- This report displays active claims based on your selected filters, including By Month, Aging Range, Payer, and Stalled status.
- For each month, it shows the total balance in each aging bucket (61–90, 91–120, 121+, and combined 61+) using end-of-month values.
- Along with dollar amounts, the report also shows each aging bucket as a percentage of total accounts receivable (AR). This helps you understand how much each bucket contributes to your overall AR.
-
How the percentage is calculated:
- Aging Bucket Balance ÷ Total AR × 100
- Example: If $15,987.66 is in the 61–90 day bucket and total AR is $123,874.44, that bucket represents 13% of total AR.
Report Filtering Options
Customize your view using these filters:
-
Location: Available only if enabled for your account. Filters claims based on the locations assigned to your user profile. Select All Locations to view claims across all available locations.
Note: Location options reflect the locations assigned to your user profile in Admin > Users. If a location is missing, ensure it has been correctly assigned.
By Month: Defaults to the previous month. Use the arrows to move forward or back one month at a time. Or click the displayed month/year to open the calendar.
-
Aging Range: Preselected to 61–90, 91–120, and 121+ days. Adjust as needed to focus on specific aging buckets.
A combined 61+ days option is also available. To avoid duplicate results, this option can only be selected on its own. If selected, the other aging ranges will be disabled. To return to a detailed view, simply reselect the individual aging buckets.
Payer: Defaults to All Payers; results will include both active and inactive payers. Use the dropdown to select individual active payers to narrow your results.
Include Stalled: Enabled by default to include all Stalled Claims. Deselect if you’d like to exclude these.
